Base Station Antenna Systems
Our portfolio of base station antennas covers frequencies that range from 25 to 3800 MHz. This includes both narrow band, broadband and multi-band models. Designed to meet toughest requirements in terms of applications and functional operation, all antennas are manufactured with premium quality materials for extensive maintenance-free operation. Due attention is paid to aesthetics and flexibility during the development of any new product, ensuring customer satisfaction with regards to price, performance and quality.
Our facilities employ the latest software and hardware tools to perform advanced network and antenna calculations. Extensive environmental testing, including vibration, shock and wind tunnel measurements, is conducted in accordance with widely recognized international standards.
The wireless cellular mobile industry relies on the RFS base station antenna product line for GSM, SMR, Cellular, PCS, TDMA/CDMA and other leading standards. CELite® antennas are renowned for their unique monolithic design, high reliability and broadband capabilities. Our butterfly dipoles reduce our antenna dimensions, enabling the construction of highly compact tower sites with low visual impact. Continuing the road of innovations to 3G and UMTS, we have introduced low visual impact antenna systems with dual and triple band antennas for both fixed and continuously adjustable electrical downtilt.

From cable deliverer to solution provider
RFS has long expertise in the RF coverage of confined areas, starting with the first radiating cable in the seventies for communication in tunnels. At that time no one could imagine the success story of the mobile consumer communication. Radiating cable was installed to enable analog trunk communication between the train driver and the related operation centers at a low RF frequencies in the range of 75 MHz to 150 MHz. Today the requirements and expectations in a RF communication network have changed greatly. Coverage must be provided for a number of different services at different frequencies. Broadband technique is now requested transmitting mainly digital signals up to 2.4 GHz including WLAN services and more.
RFS offers complete RF system solutions for nearly every kind of confined area. These systems vary from specific solutions for large tunnel projects to a cost-effective modular system for In-building; from passive system approach to active driven systems with an optical fiber backbone structure. RFS Ferrocom, an industry leader in the manufacture of isolators and circulators, offers a complete line of ferrite devices covering the range of 80 MHz to 40 GHz. Our extensive line of isolators and circulators extend from narrow band models to units with greater than octave bandwidths. These units provide the lowest possible insertion loss for a specified set of operating conditions and requirements. Vehicle Tracking Systems
A GPS tracking unit is a device that uses the Global Positioning System to determine the precise location of a vehicle, person, or other asset to which it is attached and to record the position of the asset at regular intervals. The recorded location data can be stored within the tracking unit, or it may be transmitted to a central location data base, or internet-connected computer, using a cellular, radio, or satellite modem embedded in the unit.
